Shipmate News 01 December 2015

We’re making our list and checking it twice

This is it, we’re in the home stretch, only 24 days till Christmas and here at Shipmate we’ve been working frantically behind the scenes tweaking and adjusting to provide a better Shipmate experience for boaters and the industry alike.

And the changes are aplenty, both to the website and the print editions. But let’s tell you about the website first. We’re still providing a free listing to anyone who provides products, trades or services direct to boaters, but now each listing has their own Google location Map.

We’ve also been quietly working our way through South East Queensland (SEQ), where our man on the ground there, Harry Davis, has incorporated over 300 new Queensland marine businesses into Shipmate just in the last few weeks, with more being added daily. We’ve also improved the facility to filter each category by state so boaters can find local businesses easier.

And we’ve changed our Premium Listings so that each now has their own individual page complete with pictures, words and even video. Check out the sample here: http://www.shipmate.com.au/directory-items/clipper-motor-yachts

But enough about us and turning to this edition, we’ve got plenty to tell you there too, from right around the country and even a bit from overseas. A big edition again this time with everything from major yachting regattas and races, new people, new products, a couple of very worthy charity projects and a whole lot more.

So, as we say every edition, sit back, browse through and enjoy the read.

Cheers, see you out on the water
