A warm welcome to Queensland

Welcome to another edition of Shipmate News and a special welcome to those marine businesses in South East Queensland receiving Shipmate News for the first time.

We’ve got another great wrap of what’s making news in the marine world from around Australia with details on new equipment, technology, fishing, new model releases and lots of innovation. Whatever your area of interest relative to boating, I’m sure you’ll find something in this edition.

But just before you get into the news, we’d like to bring you up to date with what we’ve been doing to benefit you, that is, whether you’re a boater or a marine business, anywhere in Australia.

We’ve just completed the 2016 Victorian print edition of Shipmate Marine Directory and it’s currently on the presses. Distribution of the 11th annual edition of this 148 page, pocket size, recreational boaters essential guide, will commence at the end of the month.

The other exciting news is that we’ve commenced preparing a print edition of Shipmate for South East Queensland (SEQ). 10,000 copies of this top quality, pocket wonder, incorporating a complete A-Z of marine trades and services, will be distributed free to boaters in SEQ.

Out in time for the start of the boat Show season in May 2016, Shipmate Marine Directory SEQ print edition incorporates all of the SEQ listings currently available online at www.shipmate.com.au And in terms of listings; in the last few weeks we’ve added over 300, in just about every category, the majority of those from the Sunshine State.

And if you’re a boater, you’ll find just about anything you’re looking for to make your boating more pleasurable and help keep your pride and joy in tip-top order, that’s all free too!

Coalition supports end of commercial netting in the bay
